PAYMENT FOR SCHOOL DINNERS & SCHOOL TRIPS
In conjunction with Cardiff Council, we have introduced an online payment system for school meals, this system enables you to pre-order your child's school meals. The system is web based and you can access it from anywhere that has internet access. Access is via the ParentPay website and is very secure and reliable. You will need to activate an online account in order to pay/select school meals.
New to ParentPay?
Please visit www.parentpay.com and activate your account via the Account login area on the home page of the site. You will have been given a unique activation username and password which you will be prompted to change and keep safe and secure. You will need an active email account to do this.
If you already have a ParentPay account for a child at another ParentPay school, you can simply log in to your existing account and add other children via the Add a Child section on your home page. You will need the activation username and password to do this.
If you have 2 or more children at the school, you only need to activate one account to create your main account then add your other children via the Add a Child tab on your home page.
After activating your account, please make payment for your school meals and then select the tab to pre-order your child's meals. All parents need to make the meal choices with your child. They can no longer choose in class. Please note that your account must be in credit.
For those parents whose child is entitled to Free School Meals, (all children in Reception, Years 1-3) are entitled to a free school meal every day, please activate your account as above and pre-order your child's meals, as above. Your child's account will be credited with the Free School Meal entitlement for each day, therefore no payment is required. However, you will still need to continue through to the payment section just to confirm the choice.
It is important that all parents activate their ParentPay account as in addition to school meal payments and pre-ordering, it is also used for payment of school trips.
The management of the account will be your responsibility. Please keep a close eye on the balance, ensuring that enough money is available for each child. If your child is in Year 6 we recommend all funds are spent by the end of the academic year in July.
Cardiff Council schools serve a balanced 2 course meal and a cold drink for £2.75 per child per day. Our menu operates on a 3 week cycle to ensure the children receive a varied diet and there is a Halal & vegetarian choice available each day. Parents can see the menu on their ParentPay account.

Primary School Free Breakfast Initiative:
Breakfast has long been recognised as the most important meal of the day and evidence suggests that children who have the opportunity to eat a healthy and nutritious breakfast prior to the start of the school day are more likely to achieve their full potential.
The Welsh Assembly Government Primary School Free Breakfast Initiative gives children in primary schools in Wales the opportunity to have a free, healthy breakfast in school each day. For further information about our Breakfast Club please call into the main school office and speak to Mrs Phillips (Wednesday-Friday).
