Active Travel Plan
How to get to us:
Severn Primary School is an Active Travel School. We encourage families, staff and visitors to travel to us as actively as possible. This is part of Cardiff Councils vision by 2030 to change the way people travel around the city and make changes to respond to the climate emergency, for clean air and to create safe and healthy communities.
This means that we ask you to walk, cycle or scoot to us if you possibly can, or use public transport to visit us. We try to limit cars to our school, if you feel you must travel by car then please park 10 minutes away and walk to us. This ensures all our pupils are safe.
Public Transport:
Our local bus stops are: Albert Street Bus stop, a 2-minute walk; Wyndham Crescent also a 2-minute walk and Danescourt, a 12-minute walk. Our nearest train station is: Cardiff Central Station, it is a 33-minute walk, approximately 1.5 miles.
Travelling by bike:

We have storage facilities for bikes which are in the KS2 playground. We look forward to seeing you.
